Pentecost

Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday.

First Holy Communion for children in the parish catechism class will be held on Sunday, June 14th.

Church Bookstore is open today, Sunday, May 31st after all Masses. We will limit to 10 people at all times.

No Benediction on Thursday, June 4th. Confessions at 6:00 PM, Rosary at 6:30 PM followed by Compline.

All Day Adoration on Friday, June 5th begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” Please be sure all time slots have two people signed up to give correct veneration to Our Lord. First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.

Ember Days: Traditional days of fast and partial abstinence are Wednesday, Friday (complete abstinence), and Saturday, June 3rd, 5th and 6th.

Rosary Crusade: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. District of the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) has begun a Rosary Crusade for relief from this affliction and for all of the souls who have been affected by it. This Rosary Crusade will run from Sunday, April 26, 2020 until the Feast of the Assumption on August 15, 2020. Booklets with tally sheets are available in the vestibule.

Meals for Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Show your appreciation to our Priests and Religious by cooking one meal for them. The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) meeting for June and July are cancelled, due to Academy Graduation and July 4th holiday.

The Holy Name Society will be having our monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 3rd at 6:00 PM in the Retreat Conference Room.  Since the President's term will be completed in June and the Vice President will become President, the membership will be voting on a new Vice President during this meeting.  As such, attendance is strongly encouraged.  All men of the Parish are invited to attend.

Academy Auction. Please join us on the church grounds from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM for the Academy’s Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle. The event is open to all parishioners, no tickets required. You will be assigned a bid number at the registration table, and you do not need to be present to 'win' an item. We invite all parishioners to stop by anytime throughout the morning, bid on some fabulous items, enjoy some light refreshments, and support our parish school!

Academy Awards Ceremony and Talent Show: Friday, June 5th at 7:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center.

Academy Graduation: Saturday, June 6th. Mass at 10:00 AM, followed by ceremony in the Performing Arts Center.
