Third Sunday of Advent
Bookstore Sale: All Angelus Press publications are 20% off for the month of December. A variety of Christmas cards are now available. Please stop by the bookstore today to purchase a 2022 calendar before they are sold out - we have a limited supply of both the Angelus Press wall calendar and the Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery desk calendar.
Ember Days: Traditional days of fast and partial abstinence are Wednesday, Friday (complete abstinence), and Saturday, November 15th, 17th and 18th. This observance was originally instituted to encourage the faithful to pray and do penance for new priests. Please offer your prayers and sacrifices on these days that God may inspire more men to offer themselves for this holy ministry and for the perseverance of those already ordained.
Christmas giving tree instructions: Please turn in all purchased giving tree items to the church office (WRAPPED, with the ornament attached) by December 17, 2021. Please include a gift receipt, if appropriate. Thank you for your generosity.
Second Collection Schedule: December 19th to benefit the Academy. Thank you for your generosity.
Christmas Decorating: Decorating the church for Christmas will take place Sunday, December 19th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, followed by Vespers in the Church. Dinner will be provided at 5:30 PM in Boyle Hall. Please join us for this family friendly event, and bring a dessert or drink to share. Many hands make light (and enjoyable!) work.
Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, December 21st at 7:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Fr. Pons will continue his talks on Womanhood, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.
Academy Christmas Performance and awards night is Wednesday, December 22nd at 7:00 PM, in the Performing Arts Center. All are invited to attend.
Christmas Mass, Saturday, December 25, 2021:

Christmas Novena of Masses: Christmas cards with the gift of a novena of Masses will be available in the vestibule this week. Donations will benefit the building fund and may be turned into the church office, bookstore or placed in the collection basket. The novena of Masses will begin with the Christmas Midnight Mass.
