Men’s Virtues Retreat starts Wednesday. Please keep the silence on the retreat grounds this week. Please keep the retreatants in your prayers.
Shrove Tuesday Parish Event: Plan to join us on Tuesday, March 1st at 6:30 PM for an evening of crepes/waffles, bonfire, and more!
Ash Wednesday, March 2nd is a day of Fast and Abstinence. Mass times will be at 5:45 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM. The 8:30 AM Academy Mass will be a High Mass. Ashes will be distributed at each Mass on Ash Wednesday and after each Mass on Sunday, March 6th for those not able to receive ashes on Ash Wednesday.
Annual Parish Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, March 5th. Donations of usable items are needed, and may be brought to the parish hall beginning February 28th, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Please contact Rena Violette at 386-697-3804 if you can donate your time to help sort items from February 28th – March 4th and/or sell items on March 5th. Proceeds from the yard sale will go to the Building Fund, and all items not sold will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Charity.
Parish Lenten Recollection: All parishioners are invited to a Lenten Recollection on Sunday, March 6th from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM.
Funeral Pre-Planning Seminar: Are your affairs in order? We invite you to attend a free funeral pre-planning seminar on Saturday, March 12th at 10:00 AM in the Performing Arts Center. Church Cleaning Assistance: Many volunteers are currently needed to help with church cleaning. The only requirement is to be able to clean one area of the church once a month, according to your schedule. Please make a small sacrifice to keep God’s house clean and beautiful! Sign up in the vestibule to be contacted with further information.
Academy Auction: Save the date for this year’s silent auction, to be held Sunday, March 20th on the church grounds from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. We invite all parishioners to come socialize, bid on some fabulous items, enjoy light refreshments, and support our parish school. If you would like to make a donation to the auction, please contact the Academy office at 602-305-7183.
