Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday.

Second Collection schedule:  A special collection for vocations will be taken on Good Shepherd Sunday, May 1st. Thank you for your generosity.

Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, May 1st we will have only two Masses (at 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM) to honor Our Lady with the May crowning and an outdoor procession.

May Crowning Sunday, May 1st at the 10:00 AM Mass. Flowers for Our Lady’s statue will be handed out before the procession. You are also welcome to bring your own flowers. Everyone is encouraged to bring flowers to Our Lady’s statue throughout the month of May.

The Second Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Daniel Patterson of Phoenix, AZ and Miss Tessa Obernuefemann of Phoenix, AZ, who plan to be married at Our Lady of Sorrows on May 6, 2022. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.

Academy Baseball: Come out to cheer on the Cavaliers at their final home game, Tuesday April 26th at 6:30 PM.

Academy Play: All parishioners are invited to the Academy’s performance of Les Femmes Savantes (The Learned Ladies). Shows will be Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th at 7:15 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.

Sunday Brunch for the Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Please show your appreciation to our Priests and Religious by cooking one meal for them! We ask for one person/family per weekend, so the more who volunteer, the fewer meals everyone cooks. For more details and to sign up, please visit https://takethemameal.com/PDCI7397. Altar Flowers Donations: Donation envelopes for purchasing the flowers on the altar can be found in the vestibule. Each envelope is for one week, and lists the Feasts celebrated during that week. You may contribute any or all amount of the flower cost for that week. If interested, please take one envelope and return it to either the Sunday collection basket or to the church office. We are grateful for your generosity.

Trail Life Registration: Trail Life, our outdoor adventure program for boys ages 5-17 (and their fathers), will have registration materials available after all Masses during the month of May.
