We will end with Vespers at 5:00 PM.  Come out and join your parish family on this Feast of the Holy Family!

Raffle for Altar Servers: The Holy Name Society is selling raffle tickets to purchase new cassocks and surplices for our altar boys. Tickets are $20; only 250 tickets will be sold. Grand prize is $1,000, second place prize is $250. The drawing will be held on the Feast of the Holy Family, Sunday, January 8, 2023.

The Second Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Joseph Hotard of Livingston, LA and Miss Mikala Gross of Glendale, AZ, who plan to be married on January 14, 2023. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.

Epiphany Blessing: Take the blessed chalk and first write the initials of the three Wise Men, connected with Crosses, over the inside of your front door (on the lintel, if possible). Then write the year, breaking up the numbers and the year so that they fall on both sides of the initials. It should look like this: 20 C+M+B 23 with the "20 "being the millennium and century, the "C" standing for the first Wise Man, Caspar, the "M" standing for Melchior, the "B" standing for Balthasar, and the "23" standing for the decade and year. It is also popularly believed that the Kings' initials stand for "Christus mansionem benedicat" ("Christ bless this house").

Sunday Brunch for the Priory: Start the new year by showing your appreciation to our Priests and Religious by volunteering to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. For more details and to sign up, please visit https://takethemameal.com/PDCI7397. Thank you to all who help feed our Priory!
