Christmas Boutique and Bake Sale today and December 3rd. Please visit the tables outside church to purchase Advent and Christmas items. All proceeds benefit families/parishioners in need.

Christmas Giving Tree Instructions. Please choose an ornament from the tree, purchase the item, and deliver to the church office (wrapped, with the ornament attached) by December 15, 2023. Please include a gift receipt, if appropriate. Thank you for your generosity.

All Day Adoration on Friday, December 1st begins after the 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. “Can you not watch one hour with Me?”  First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.

Advent Recollection: All parishioners are invited to a morning Recollection on Saturday, December 2nd. After the 8:30 AM Mass, there will be breakfast, followed by conferences, confessions, consultations, and ending with Sext at 12:15 PM.

Special Second Collection: The SSPX U.S. District annual collection for the Foreign Missions Program will be taken on Sunday, December 3rd. These funds help the various missions in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, South America, Mexico, and others to operate their apostolates. Thank you for your generosity.

Sunday Brunch for the Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Please show your appreciation to our Priests and Religious by cooking one meal for them! Field Closed: The entire church field has been re-seeded, therefore all activities on the field are suspended until December 9th. This includes all regularly scheduled soccer/volleyball games and other events. All persons are asked to stay off the field. We also ask parents to please ensure your children do not go into or around the field after Mass, Benediction, school, etc.

Bourbon & Cigar Tasting: All men are invited to join the Holy Name Society for a Bourbon & Cigar Tasting Event on Friday, December 8th at 7:00 PM on the lawn by the Pieta statue. Come and enjoy a wonderful cigar and several different bourbons for just $20 per person. Invite friends, introduce them to OLOS, and build comradery. Please RSVP by December 1st to save your spot. Christmas Decorating: Decorating the church for Christmas will take place Sunday, December 17th from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, followed by Vespers in the Church. Dinner will be provided at 5:30 PM in Boyle Hall. Please join us for this family-friendly event, and bring a dessert or drink to share. Many hands make light (and enjoyable!) work.

Floriani, a men’s vocal ensemble, will offer an Advent concert at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Thursday, December 21st at 7:30 PM, following Benediction. All parishioners are invited to experience traditional sacred music performed in our very own church.

Christmas Novena of Masses: Christmas cards with the gift of a novena of Masses will be in the vestibule this week. Donations will benefit the building fund and may be turned into the church office, bookstore, or placed in the collection basket. The novena of Masses will begin with the Christmas Midnight Mass.
