Archery Updates: Western Nationals

Dear Archery Parents and Friends,

Your archery traveling team did you proud in Western Nationals. What a trip! We are so grateful for the blessings bestowed upon us in Utah. 

Our archers competed again at a High School Bullseye level and finished 21st out of 42 teams. (Impressive considering a majority of those teams were High Schools and we were competing at an elite National level!) Our 4th and 5th graders also competed at the Elementary 3D level and finished 2nd out of 32 teams. 

Beyond the team level, 6 of our bullseye archers and 4 of our 3D archers qualified individually for the NASP Championships in Myrtle Beach June 5th and 6th. 

We had hoped to have an archery banquet [...] Saturday, May 3rd, but it has to be postponed due to the Cavaliers game. The silver lining is that it gives us time for Tom Rowan, NASP’s Head Arizona Coordinator, to bring our Elementary Team’s trophy back from Utah in order for us to display and share it!

*Update from May 2, 2025:

Our Nationals Elementary 3D Team's trophy has arrived! It will be making its grand entrance during OLSA morning lineup on Tuesday, May the 6th. Way to go Owen Delmanowski, Charles McQuillin, Naomi Gergen, Felipe Pador, Ben Delmanowski, Serenity Ramirez, Charlotte Evans, and Fulton Hardin!

In honor of a tremendous year, we are holding our first End of the Season Archery Banquet on Saturday, May 31st in Boyle Hall from 5pm-8pm. All archery parents, family, and friends are welcome! It will be a potluck style banquet, so please click on the SignUp Genius link below to let us know what delicious foods you are bringing. (Side note: Brother Benedict is gluten-free, so any foods/goodies you may be planning for him will need to be gluten-free).

Further archery practice has also concluded until the end of the school year. A Summer schedule is currently being worked on.
