Christmas Boutique 2024

Source: Our Lady of Sorrows Priory

The 2024 Christmas Boutique will be held on Sunday, December 1, and Sunday, December 8 after all Masses. Proceeds from this event will go towards replenishing the Poor and Needy Fund, and we will also have the Giving Tree set up with tags listing gift ideas for parishioners in need.

We warmly invite you to be part of this wonderful tradition by contributing handmade or donated items. Your time and creativity will help make this event special and memorable for everyone who attends.

Here are some popular item ideas for our Boutique:

  • Advent Items: Advent candle sets are especially appreciated.
  • Handmade Ornaments & Decorations: Wreaths, garlands, stockings, and nativity sets.
  • Crafted Gifts: Candles, soaps, knitted or crocheted items like scarves, hats, gloves, children's toys, and wood décor items.
  • Seasonal Treats & Baked Goods: Cookies, fudge, jams, granola, and coffee.
  • Gift Baskets: Bundles with coffee, tea, self-care items, or baking kits.
  • Children's Items: Storybooks, craft kits, or holiday-themed toys.
  • Religious Gifts: Prayer journals, scripture ornaments, or rosaries.
  • Cards & Stationery: Handmade holiday cards, gift tags, or personalized notecards.

If you’d like to participate, please reply email the Ladies Auxiliary Group at [email protected] to arrange your donation or discuss your ideas. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference!

The boutique tables, items, and Giving Tree will be set up on November 30 and covered overnight. Early Sunday morning, we will set up for coffee, and hopefully, hot chocolate. If anyone would like to volunteer to help set up or assist with selling items on either date, it would be greatly appreciated.

We kindly ask for non-food donations to be dropped off by November 30, so we have time to organize everything before the Boutique. Food items can be brought that morning.

The Christmas Giving Tree will be on display during the Christmas Boutique this year on December 1st and 8th. The ornaments on this tree will list specific items needed by one of our parishioners, particularly at Christmas. If you or someone you know could benefit from the Christmas Giving Tree, please contact Fr. Pons or Monique at the church office (602-268-7673 x1). Requests will remain confidential.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping make this season bright for our parish.
