Palm Sunday

Palms:  Blessed Palms will be available after the 10:00 AM High Mass and throughout the week, until they are all taken.

The Church Bookstore will be closed on April 13th and April 20th.

Parish Mission conferences will be given by Fr. McFarland this week at 6:00 PM in the church on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, after the rosary at 5:30 PM. Confessions will be heard during the conferences and Mass will be offered at 7:00 PM. All parishioners are encouraged to attend. 

Blessing of Easter Food Baskets will take place on Saturday, April 19th at 11:30 AM in the Church.

Second Collection schedule: April 20th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. A special collection for SSPX vocations will be taken on Good Shepherd Sunday, May 4th. Thank you for your generosity.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11:30 AM on April 20th. Please donate candy (no chocolate), small religious items or plastic eggs (empty or filled). Donations can be placed in the baskets in the church vestibule. 

Bourbon & Cigar Tasting: All men are invited to the Bourbon & Cigar Tasting Event hosted by the Holy Name Society on Friday, April 25th at 7:00 PM on the lawn by the Pieta statue. Come enjoy a wonderful cigar and several different bourbons for just $20 per person. Please contact the HNS officers with any questions at [email protected].

Holy Name Society Softball Game: All men of the parish are invited to participate in a softball game hosted by the HNS on Sunday, April 27th at 1:00 PM on the baseball field. Burgers will be provided after the game, please bring your own drinks.

Academy Applications for Fall 2025 are now open for Grades 1 – 12. Families can request information at https://ourladyofsorrows-academy.com/en   or email [email protected]. Placement tests will be given in late April.

Sunday Brunch for the Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Dates are available for May and June. Archery Banquet:  To show our gratitude for the wonderful support received from the parish, the OLOS Archery Club will hold an end of year banquet on Saturday, May 3rd. All parishioners are invited to a potluck dinner beginning at 5:30 PM in Boyle Hall. We will also have displays of our archery equipment and awards from the season. Please pray for our team as we compete in the Western National Championships at Salt Lake City, Utah April 24th – 26th.
