Easter Sunday
Happy and Blessed Easter to all Parishioners from the Priests, Brothers and Consoling Sisters. Thank you for all your gifts and prayers.
Thank you to all who supported the Lenten Fish Dinners. With your generosity, we raised over $9,000 to help defray tuition expenses for OLOS seminarians. The families of our seminarians are so grateful for your support and prayers and will have a Mass offered for all your intentions.
Second Collection schedule: A special collection for SSPX vocations will be taken on Good Shepherd Sunday, May 4th. Thank you for your generosity.
Third Order of St. Francis monthly meeting will take place Saturday, April 26th in Boyle Hall. The meeting for all members will begin immediately following the 7:30 AM Mass, followed by instructions for new members. Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, April 29th at 7:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Fr. Pons will give a talk, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.
Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, May 4th we will have only two Masses (at 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM) to honor Our Lady with the May crowning and an outdoor procession.
Bourbon & Cigar Tasting: All men are invited to the Bourbon & Cigar Tasting Event hosted by the Holy Name Society on Friday, April 25th at 7:00 PM on the lawn by the Pieta statue. Come enjoy a wonderful cigar and several different bourbons for just $20 per person. Please contact the HNS officers with any questions at [email protected].
Holy Name Society Softball Game: All men of the parish are invited to participate in a softball game hosted by the HNS on Sunday, April 27th at 1:00 PM on the baseball field. Burgers will be provided after the game, please bring your own drinks.
Archery Banquet: To show our gratitude for the wonderful support received from the parish, the OLOS Archery Club will hold an end of year banquet on Saturday, May 3rd. All parishioners are invited to a potluck dinner beginning at 5:30 PM in Boyle Hall. We will also have displays of our archery equipment and awards from the season. Please pray for our team as we compete in the Western National Championships at Salt Lake City, Utah April 24th – 26th.
Floriani Concert: The Choristers of St. Florian, a children’s choir directed by Floriani, will present a Marian Oratorio “Hymn to The Virgin” on Tuesday, May 13th at 7:00 PM in the church. All are invited.
Alumni Baseball: Cavaliers baseball will be hosting their Second Annual Alumni Game, Tuesday, May 20th at 6:00 PM. Contact Coach Violette ([email protected] or 386-697-3704) for more information, to see if you qualify as an alumnus, and to register to play in the game.
Sunday Brunch for the Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Dates are available for May and June.
