Third Sunday after Easter
Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday.
The Simeon and Anna Sodality will meet Saturday, May 1st. After the 8:30 AM Mass, Fr. Pons will lead the First Saturday Meditation in the church, then we will meet in the Retreat Chapel to pray the Seven Sorrows devotion and prayers for the book intentions, followed by our meeting and refreshments in Boyle Hall.
May Crowning Sunday, May 2nd at the 8:30 AM Mass. Flowers for Our Lady’s statue will be handed out at the church doors before Mass. You are welcome to bring your own flowers in a vase. Everyone is encouraged to bring flowers to Our Lady’s statue throughout the month of May.
Folk Dance Lesson: Girls of the Parish (ages 4 and up) are invited to come learn a folk dance, Saturday, May 8th from 3:00 – 4:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Mothers stay and socialize with friends. Please bring a snack to share, and girls should wear a loose, full skirt for dancing.
Private School Tax Credit Donations: Governor Ducey signed into law the ability to make 2020 tax credit donations through the new deadline date of May 17th! This means all Arizona taxpayers will have an extra month to make 2020 tax credit donations, such as the private school tax credit program.
