Second Sunday after Easter

Mass Schedule: Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on developments surrounding the COVID-19 virus pandemic. Check our website daily for adjustments or new requirements. Please help us to keep social distancing. Thank you for your patience during these trying times.

Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday.

Today is Good Shepherd Sunday, however the District’s annual special collection for vocations normally taken on this day will be postponed until later in the year.

No Benediction on Thursday, April 30. Confessions at 6:00PM, Rosary at 6:30PM, followed by Compline.

All Day Adoration on Friday, April 1st, begins after 8:30AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” Please be sure all time slots have two people signed up to give correct veneration to Our Lord. First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30PM.

The Simeon and Anna Sodality (formerly Nunc Dimittis group) will meet on Saturday, May 2nd, in the Retreat Conference Room after 8AM Mass, Seven Sorrows devotion and prayers for the book intentions in the church.

Catechism classes are cancelled for the remainder of the school year, with the exception of First Holy Communion class. Catechism class for First Holy Communion preparation will resume next Sunday, May 3rd at 10:00AM. Also note that the date for First Holy Communion will be rescheduled to a date to be determined.

Church Bookstore is closed due to the virus restrictions. We will reopen on Sunday, May 3rd unless further restrictions are imposed.

Meal Train: If you, or anyone you know in the parish, is having a baby and needs a meal schedule coordinated, please contact the office at 602-268-7673.

Meals for Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Show your appreciation to our Priests and Religious by cooking one meal for them. Dates available through September. Academy Kindergarten testing for incoming Kindergarten students will be on May 20th and 27th. Please contact the Academy office at 602-305-7183 to schedule an appointment.

Academy Auction. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, this year’s Academy Auction has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 30th at 6:00 PM at The University Club of Phoenix. We invite all parishioners to come out to enjoy an excellent Italian dinner, socializing and bidding on great items. Tickets will be sold again prior to the Auction. Refunds will be given to anyone who previously purchased a ticket but is unable to attend on the new date. Please contact the school office at (602) 305-7183 with any questions.
