Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday.
Priests’ Retreat starts tomorrow. Please keep the silence on the retreat grounds this week. Please keep the priests in your prayers.
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, April 7th at 6:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following. All men of the parish are invited and encouraged to attend.
Funeral Arrangements for Joyce (Francis) Lowenstein: Rosary Wednesday, April 7th at 7:00 PM at Tempe Mortuary. Requiem Mass Thursday, April 8th at 10:00 AM here at Our Lady of Sorrows, followed by burial at Tempe Double Butte Cemetery.
April 11th 8:30 AM Solemn High Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the SSPX, and Fr. John Fullerton, U.S. District Superior.
Second Collection schedule: April 11th to benefit the Building Fund. A special collection for vocations will be taken on Good Shepherd Sunday, April 18th. The second collection to benefit the Academy will be moved to April 25th. Thank you for your generosity
Young Adults Group: Bowling Night Saturday, April 17th at 6:45 PM at AMF Tempe Village Lanes. Please bring $20 per person for shoe and lane rental. RSVP in the vestibule.
Academy Auction: This year’s silent auction will be held Sunday, April 18th on the church grounds from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. We invite you to come socialize with fellow parishioners, bid on some fabulous items, enjoy light refreshments, and support our parish school
