Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, August 6th at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.
Second Collection schedule: August 10th to benefit the Building Fund; August 17th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your generosity.
Summer Movie: This week we will be showing “Life With Father,” starring William Powell and Irene Dunne, on Friday, August 8th at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Donations and snack/drink purchases will support our seminarians.
Altar Flowers Donations: Donation envelopes for purchasing the flowers on the altar can be found in the vestibule. Each envelope is for one week, and lists the Feasts celebrated during that week. You may contribute any or all amount of the flower cost for that week. If interested, please take one envelope and return it to either the Sunday collection basket or to the church office. We are grateful for your generosity.
Sunday Brunch for the Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Please show your appreciation to our Priests and Religious by cooking one meal for them! We ask for one person/family per weekend, so the more people who volunteer, the fewer meals everyone cooks. For more details and to sign up, please visit https://takethemameal.com/PDCI7397. The Third Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Francisco Acosta and Miss Elizabeth Monsey, both of Yuma, AZ, who plan to be married on August 14, 2025, here at Our Lady of Sorrows.
