Mass Time change: No 5:45am Mass this week.
Mothers of Lu (prayer group for fostering parish vocations): All mothers are invited to meet at the communion rail after each Mass today. Prayer cards will be provided. Please offer your communion and rosary for vocations from our parish.
Coffee & Donuts - Beginning today, August 4, coffee & donut money will be collected for each individual purchase. Children will not be allowed to take donuts unless they have the money to pay or are accompanied by a paying adult. In addition, we will be switching our coffee brand to Abbey Roast, in an effort to support Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery in Silver City, NM. Thank you for your cooperation and generosity.
Eucharistic Crusade meeting. There will be two meetings per month on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. Next meeting, Thursday, August 8 at 5:45pm in the Academy lunchroom. Crusaders will go to Benediction at 6:30pm as a chapter. After Benediction Crusaders will join their parents.
Summer Movie Days – Parent’s Night Out Friday, August 9 (7pm-9pm) Featuring Valkyrie (All adults welcome)
Children’s Movie – August 14 will be Babe – starting at 11am.
Ladies Day of Recollection on Saturday, August 10, 2019. Fr. Haynos will preach the Ladies day of recollection. All ladies of the parish (age 16 and up) are invited to attend. The day begins with confessions at 7:25am, 8am Mass and Seven Sorrows devotion, ends with Benediction at 3:30pm. Additional confession times and consultation with the priest is also available. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

Holy day of obligation, Thursday, August 15, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Mass times: 5:45am, 8:00am and 6:30pm. Confessions begin at 7:15am. Also note: Wednesday, August 14, the Vigil of the Assumption is a traditional day of fast and abstinence.
Father & Son Campfire - The next Father & Son Campfire will be on Saturday, August 17, 7-9pm on the volleyball court/playground. There will be a fire-building competition and pizza in Boyle Hall. There will also be a presentation about a new, alternative scouting program coming to Our Lady of Sorrows this Fall. Please contact Wes Hardin at [email protected] if you have any questions.
