First Sunday of Advent
Thank you to all who helped make Our Lady of Sorrows Academy 10th Annual Jog-a-Thon a success. On-line donations accepted until December 8. Thank you for supporting our parish school!
Mothers of Lu (prayer group for fostering parish vocations): All mothers are invited to meet at the communion rail after each Mass today. Prayer cards will be provided. Please offer your communion and rosary for vocations from our parish.
Second Collection schedule: The US District annual collection for the Foreign Missions Trust will be taken today. These funds help all the various missions in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, South America, Mexico, and others to operate their apostolates. December 8 to benefit the Building Fund. December 15 to benefit the Academy.
Christmas boutique and bake sale today and next Sunday please visit the tables outside. To benefit families and parishioners in need. Thank you. No coffee and donuts in Boyle Hall also no Catholic Doctrine class today.
Christmas giving tree instructions. Please choose an ornament from the tree, purchase the item/items and return it to the office WRAPPED with the ornament attached by December 23, 2019. Thank you for your generosity.
No Benediction on Thursday, December 5. Confessions at 6:00pm, Rosary at 6:30pm followed by Compline.
All Day Adoration on Friday, December 6, begins after 8:30am Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45pm. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” Please be sure all time slots have two people signed up to give correct veneration to Our Lord.
Nunc Dimittis members are encouraged to attend Fr. Purdy’s conference on December 6 in place of the monthly meeting.
Feast of the Immaculate Conception Sunday, December 8. Total Consecration to Mary according to the method of St. Louis de Montfort and MI will be after both Masses.
Fr. Purdy will be coming Saturday December 7 to give conference for the SSPX Third Order.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery in New Mexico is hosting its annual pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Sunday December 15. Procession at 8am followed by Mass. A generous luncheon for all in attendance will follow the ceremonies.
