First Sunday of Advent

Christmas Boutique and Bake Sale today and December 8th. Please visit the tables outside church to purchase Advent and Christmas items. All proceeds benefit families/parishioners in need.
Christmas Giving Tree Instructions. Choose an ornament from the tree, purchase the item, and deliver it to the church office (wrapped, with the ornament attached) by December 16, 2024. Please include a gift receipt, if appropriate. Thank you for your generosity!
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, December 4th at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. Pons will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.
All Day Adoration on Friday, December 6th begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.
Advent Recollection: All parishioners are invited to a morning Recollection on Saturday, December 7th. After the 8:30 AM Mass, there will be breakfast, followed by conferences, confessions, consultations, and ending with Sext at 12:15 PM.
Academy Boys Play: All parishioners are invited to the Academy’s performance of Twelve Angry Men. Shows will be Saturday, December 7th at 7:00 PM and Sunday, December 8th at 2:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center.
Bourbon & Cigar Tasting: All men are invited to join the Holy Name Society for a Bourbon & Cigar Tasting Event on Friday, December 6th at 7:00 PM on the lawn by the Pieta statue. Come enjoy a wonderful cigar and several different bourbons for just $20 per person. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
Second Collection schedule: December 8th to benefit the Building Fund; December 15th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your generosity.
December 8th Consecration to Our Lady: We will have Vespers and Benediction at 5:30 PM with total Consecration to Mary according to the method of St. Louis Grignon de Montfort and Militia Immaculatae.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Feast: There will be a celebration in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Thursday, December 12th with Vespers at 5:30 PM followed by an evening procession off campus to the Sursum Corda House and a dessert reception back at OLS.
Christmas Novena of Masses: Christmas cards with the gift of a novena of Masses are available in the vestibule. Donations will benefit the building fund and may be turned into the church office, bookstore or placed in the collection basket. The novena of Masses will begin with the Christmas Midnight Mass. Deadline to turn in intention envelopes: Monday, December 23rd.
