Men’s Ignatian Retreat starts tomorrow. Please keep the silence on the retreat grounds this week. Please keep the retreatants in your prayers.

Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, December 15th at 7:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Fr. Pons will give a spiritual conference on the topic of Womanhood, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.

Ember Days: Traditional days of fast and partial abstinence are Wednesday, Friday (complete abstinence), and Saturday, December 16th, 18th and 19th.  This observance was originally instituted to encourage the faithful to pray and do penance for new priests. Please offer your prayers and sacrifices on these days that God may inspire more men to offer themselves for this holy ministry and for the perseverance of those already ordained.

Christmas Decorating: Decorating the church for Christmas will take place Sunday, December 20th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, followed by Vespers in the Church. Dinner will be provided at 5:30 PM in Boyle Hall. Please join us for this family friendly event, and bring a dessert or drink to share. Many hands make light (and enjoyable!) work. Men will be needed for heavy lifting and climbing ladders, and middle-high school girls will be needed for babysitting. Young children may play outside or in Boyle Hall. Please email [email protected] with any questions, or if you would like to donate hot chocolate, egg nog, etc.

Holy Name Society Social Night: All men of the parish are invited to an evening of socializing, Saturday, December 19th at 7:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Please bring drinks and/or snacks to share.
