Feast of the Presentation
Mothers of Lu (prayer group for fostering parish vocations): All mothers are invited to meet at the communion rail after each Mass today. Prayer cards will be provided. Please offer your communion and rosary for vocations from our parish.
Women’s Virtues Retreat starts Wednesday, February 5. Please keep the silence on the retreat grounds this week. Please keep the retreatants in your prayers. Space is available call the office to take advantage of this retreat.
No Benediction on Thursday, February 6, Confessions at 6:00pm, Rosary at 6:30pm followed by Compline.
All Day Adoration on Friday, February 7, begins after 8:30am Academy Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45pm. Sign up sheet is in the vestibule “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” Please be sure all time slots have two people signed up to give correct veneration to Our Lord.
Sunday mid-day meal for priests and religious. Please visit the website: takethemameal.com to sign up to cook the mid-day for our priests and religious on a future Sunday of your choice. Use - Our Lady of Sorrows – as friends last name to access the meal calendar.
Please bring the blessed palms from Palm Sunday to be burned for ashes for Ash Wednesday. A basket will be in the vestibule.
Please join us for a Parish Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, February 9th, after each Mass, in Boyle Hall to treat mom and the family to a wonderful home-cooked breakfast in celebration of St. Valentine’s Day! Proceeds will benefit OLOS Baseball Booster Club.
