Septuagesima Sunday

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Michael Loose, who died on January 27th. The funeral will be Friday, February 6th at 9:30 AM, followed by the burial at St. Francis Cemetery.

Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Monday, February 2nd 11:00 AM Mass will be a Sung Mass, with the Blessing of Candles. Please bring any candles you wish to be blessed to the Sacristy before Mass. Candles can be purchased in the bookstore.

Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, February 4th at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following.  All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.

All Day Adoration on Saturday, February 7th begins after the 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 6:00 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. We must have at least two people assigned for each hour, or we will cancel adoration and replace with a holy hour after the 8:30 AM Mass.

The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, February 7th after the 8:30 AM Mass in Boyle Hall.

Second Collection schedule:  February 8th to benefit the Building Fund; February 15th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. 

Please bring your old, blessed palms to be burned for Ash Wednesday and place them in the basket in the vestibule.

The Second Banns of Marriage are announced for: Mr. Julian Meyerhofer and Miss Sarah Rayes, who plan to be married on April 18, 2026; Mr. Thomas James and Miss Samantha Haire, who plan to be married on April 20, 2026; Mr. William Tucker and Miss Adrianna Valdez, who plan to be married on April 24, 2026. Any persons knowing of any impediment to these unions are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
