Quinquagesima Sunday
The Third Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Jacob Villa and Miss Paulina Iracka, both of Our Lady of Sorrows, who plan to be married on February 16, 2021. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
Ash Wednesday, February 17th is a day of Fast and Abstinence. Mass times will be at 5:45 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM. The 8:30 AM Academy Mass will be a High Mass. Ashes will be distributed at each Mass on Ash Wednesday and after each Mass on Sunday, February 21st for those not able to receive ashes on Ash Wednesday.
Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, February 16th at 7:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Fr. Pons will continue his talks on Womanhood, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.
Stations of the Cross will be on Friday at 6:00 PM throughout Lent.
Parish Lenten Recollection: All parishioners are invited to a morning Recollection on Saturday, February 20th. After the 8:30 AM Mass, there will be a breakfast sponsored by the Simeon & Anna Sodality, followed by a conference at 10:15 AM, confessions and prayer time, a conference at 11:30 AM, and ending with Sext at Noon.
Conversation with Fr. Pons on Music, with a Question & Answer session, Saturday, February 20th at 7:00 PM at Mimi Forno Italiano. Sponsored by the Young Adults Group. All are invited.
