Shrove Tuesday Parish Event: On Tuesday, February 21st we will have a Holy Hour from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM in reparation for the sins committed during Carnival and in preparation for Lent. Parish Lenten Recollection: All parishioners are invited to a Lenten Recollection on Sunday, February 26th from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM.

OLOS Volleyball Tournament: Our Lady of Sorrows is hosting its 2nd Annual Volleyball Tournament on February 25, 2023, with both a Men’s and Women’s Division. Players must be at least 14. Raffle for Altar Servers: The Holy Name Society is continuing to sell tickets for a fundraiser raffle to purchase new cassocks for our altar boys. The drawing will take place on Sunday, February 26th after the 8:30 AM High Mass. Tickets are $20. The grand prize is $1,000; second place prize is $250. If you haven’t purchased a ticket and would like to, tickets are sold after each Mass in Boyle Hall, or call/text Joe McCarthy (301-351-5070).

The Annual Parish Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, March 4th from 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Donations of usable items are needed and may be brought to the parish hall beginning February 26th. Please text/call Rena Violette (386-697-3804) if you can help sort items any time February 27th – March 3rd or to sell items on March 4th. Proceeds from the yard sale will go to the Building Fund, and all items not sold will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul charity. Thank you for your continued support!
