Feast of the Holy Family
Parish Picnic today at 12:30 PM. Spend the afternoon with your parish family on this Feast of the Holy Family! Please bring food and drink to feed your family, plus extra to share if you wish, plus games, balls, and equipment to share with everyone to provide a variety of entertainment. We will end with Vespers at 5:00 PM.

Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, January 19th at 7:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Fr. Pons will give a spiritual conference on the topic of Womanhood, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.
Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser: Trail Life Troop AZ-1571 invites all parishioners to a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Saturday, January 30, 2021. The evening will include Trailmen presentations, a 50/50 raffle, and the opportunity to sponsor much-needed Troop items. Tickets are $7/person or $40/7 people, and will be on sale today through Sunday, January 24th after all Masses.
Just arrived in the Bookstore: 100% beeswax candles. Purchase during the month of January, to be blessed on the Feast of the Purification (Candlemas), February 2nd.
Candles are used in the Church as much as holy water. They stand for Christ, the “Light of the World.” They are blessed on the Feast of the Purification, in memory of Holy Simeon’s words, calling Christ the ‘light of revelation to the Gentiles” (Luke 2:32).
Angelus Press Calendars: Unfortunately, the 2021 Calendars are sold out, and the Angelus Press will not be printing additional copies. Anyone who pre-paid for a calendar order should go to the bookstore for a refund.
