SSPX Brazil Presentation: On Monday, January 16th at 7:00 PM, the SSPX Superior of Brazil, Fr. Juan Maria de Montagut, will give a presentation on the apostolate in that country. The presentation will take place in the Performing Arts Center (PAC), and there will be the possibility to donate to work of Tradition in Brazil. All are invited.
Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, January 17th at 7:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. Pons will give a talk, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.
Holy Hour for Mothers: Please join us on Friday, January 20th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the church as we spend an hour with Our Lord praying for parish vocations and the intentions of our families. All mothers are welcome!
Movie Night: The Nunc Dimittis invites all parishioners to a parish family movie night on January 28th at 5:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center, featuring “Archbishop Lefebvre – A Documentary.” The movie is free; snacks and beverages will be available to purchase. All donations benefit seminarians of the parish.
The First Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Michael Sherry of Ireland and Miss Victoria Oliver of Anthem, AZ, who plan to be married on February 3, 2023. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
Raffle for Altar Servers: The Holy Name Society is continuing to sell tickets for a fundraiser raffle throughout the month of January. Tickets are $20 and only 250 tickets will be sold. The grand prize is $1,000; second place prize is $250. All proceeds of the raffle will be used to purchase new cassocks and surplices for our altar boys. The drawing will now take place in February.

OLOS Volleyball Tournament: Our Lady of Sorrows is hosting its 2nd Annual Volleyball Tournament on February 25, 2023, with both a Men’s and Women’s Division. Players must be at least 14.
