Second Collection schedule: July 20th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your generosity.
Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, July 15th at 7:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Fr. Pons will give a talk, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.
Summer Movie: This week we will be showing “National Velvet,” starring Elizabeth Taylor and Mickey Rooney on Friday, July 18th at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Donations and snack/drink purchases will support our seminarians.
Franciscan Cordbearers: There will be an enrollment ceremony to the Archconfraternity of the Cord of St. Francis (Cordbearers) on Sunday, July 20th after the 8:30 AM Mass. Adults and children ages 7 and older are welcome. Please contact Maria McCaughey (509-993-9918) for further details.
Blood Drive: Our Lady of Sorrows will be hosting a blood drive with Vitalant on Saturday, August 2nd from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. They will have a bloodmobile in the parking lot. Please see the flyers in the vestibule to schedule an appointment or visit www.vitalant.org and choose “Donate Now” and enter code 100562370. Thank you for your support.
Lost and Found: If you have left any valuable items (wallets, purses, phones, jewelry, etc.) in the church or anywhere on property, please contact the office (602-268-7673 x1). Over the past several months, we have collected many items with no identification. These will all be donated if not claimed by the end of July.
Bookstore Location Change: The bookstore has moved! Please stop by the new location outside the Performing Arts Center.
