Fifth Sunday after Pentecost
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, July 5th at 6:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.
All Day Adoration on Friday, July 7th begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.
The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, July 8th after the 8:30 AM Mass. We will meet in the Retreat Chapel to pray the Seven Sorrows devotions and prayers for the book intentions, followed by our meeting and refreshments in Boyle Hall.
Second Collection schedule: July 9th to benefit the Building Fund; July 16th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your generosity.
Ladies Day of Recollection: All women of the parish are invited to a Recollection on Saturday, July 15th. Details to follow.
Mexico Pilgrimage: Fr. Pons will be leading a seven-day Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mexico from November 9 – 15, 2023, celebrating daily Mass, giving spiritual talks to the pilgrims, and touring historical churches and spiritual apparition sites. The Third Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Gregory Massey of Brisbane, Australia, and Miss Agnes Goodwin of Nicholville, NY, formerly of Our Lady of Sorrows, who plan to be married on July 8, 2023. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
