Announcements

Perpetual Adoration, Tuesday, July 30th starting after 8:30 AM Mass, ending with Benediction at 6:00 PM. Sign-up sheet is in vestibule. In 1989, the Society of St. Pius X started Perpetual Adoration in which the Blessed Sacrament remains exposed at some house of the Society throughout the world every day for the faithful to pray for the following intentions: 

  1. The return of Rome and the bishops to the traditional doctrine of the Church.
  2. The sanctification of priests and candidates for the priesthood.
  3. The awakening of priestly and religious vocations.

All Day Adoration on Friday, August 2nd begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. No evening Mass. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. “Can you not watch one hour with Me?”  

The Simeon and Anna Sodality meeting for August is cancelled. The next meeting will be Saturday, September 7th.

OLOS bookstore is looking for quality items crafted by parishioners to re-sell in the bookstore. If interested in sharing your product(s), please bring a sample of the item(s), labeled with wholesale pricing and your contact information, to the bookstore on Sunday. The bookstore manager will contact you once reviewed to discuss next steps.

Farewell Party for Fr. Pedersen will be Sunday, August 4th at 6:00 PM. Dinner will be provided by the church. Please bring drinks and desserts to share. Come thank Fr. Pedersen for his six years of dedication, support, and faithful work to our parish and school.

The Third Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Juandiego Lerma, formerly of Phoenix, AZ, and Miss Stephanie Kolden of Spokane, WA, who plan to be married at Immaculate Conception Church on August 2, 2024. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
