Perpetual Adoration, Monday, July 31st starting after 8:30 AM Mass, ending with Benediction at 6:00 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. In 1989, the Society of St. Pius X started Perpetual Adoration in which the Blessed Sacrament remains exposed at some house of the Society throughout the world every day for the faithful to pray for the following intentions:
The return of Rome and the bishops to the traditional doctrine of the Church.
The sanctification of priests and candidates for the priesthood.
The awakening of priestly and religious vocations.
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, August 2nd at 6:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.
All Day Adoration on Friday, August 4th begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. “Can you not watch one hour with Me?”
First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.
The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, August 5th after the 8:30 AM Mass. We will pray the Seven Sorrows devotions and prayers for the book intentions, followed by our meeting and refreshments in the Performing Arts Center.
Mexico Pilgrimage: Registration and final payment for the 7-Day Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mexico November 9 – 15, 2023 with Fr. Pons has been extended to August 8, 2023. Consoling Sister of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will arrive on August 11, 2023. We will have a parish reception and potluck dinner to welcome the Sisters on Sunday, August 20th at 6:00 PM in Boyle Hall.
