Sunday after the Ascension
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, June 4th at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.
All Day Adoration on Friday, June 6th begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.
Second Collection schedule: June 8th to benefit the Building Fund; June 15th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your generosity.
The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, June 14th after the 8:30 AM Mass. All parishioners interested in joining are welcome to attend.
Franciscan Cordbearers: There will be an enrollment ceremony to the Archconfraternity of the Cord of St. Francis (Cordbearers) on Saturday, June 14th after the 8:30 AM Mass. Adults and children ages 7 and older are welcome. Please see the brochure in the vestibule for further details.
Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday (June 15th).
Mission Santa Maria Summer Mass Time will be 3:00 PM every Sunday, from June 8th through August 31st.
Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, June 22nd we will have only two Masses (at 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM) in honor of the Feast of Corpus Christi. An outdoor procession will begin at 9:30 AM.
