Trinity Sunday
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Patrick Lyons, who died on Wednesday, June 4th. The funeral will be in Wisconsin.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Josephine Lopez, who died on June 9, 2025. The funeral will be on Tuesday, June 17th here at Our Lady of Sorrows at 10:30 AM followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, March 17th at 7:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Fr. Pons will give a talk, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.
The Feast of Corpus Christi, Thursday, June 19th we will have Vespers at 6:00 PM followed by Benediction at 6:30 PM.
Holy Hour for Mothers: Please join us on Friday, June 20th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the church as we spend one hour with Our Lord praying for parish vocations and the intentions of our families. All mothers are welcome!
Summer Movie Nights: Join us every Friday evening at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center for a family movie. Donations and snack/drink purchases will support our seminarians. On Friday, June 20th we will be showing “Miracle,” the story of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team.
Archery Club: The OLOS Archery Club is now accepting new archers for the 2025-26 season. This includes the upcoming 4th grade class. Summer classes have begun. Contact Br. Benedict at 602-684-4165 for details.
Mission Santa Maria Summer Mass Time will be 3:00 PM every Sunday, from June 8th through August 31st.
Solemnity of Corpus Christi, Sunday June 22nd we will celebrate with a procession to honor Our Lord. Mass is at 8:00 AM, followed by a procession led by the First Holy Communicants, Eucharistic Crusaders and Children of Mary, which will go off property to the Sursum Corda House for Benediction, then return to Church. Let us honor Our Lord by attending this visible profession of our Faith in the Blessed Sacrament and of Our Lord’s reign over society. All parishioners are invited to bring flower petals to distribute during the procession. The second Mass will be held at 11:30 AM.
