Second Sunday after Pentecost
Summer Movie Nights: Join us every Friday evening at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center for a family movie. Donations and snack/drink purchases will support our seminarians. On Friday, June 27th we will be showing “The Searchers” starring John Wayne, one of the top Westerns of the 20th Century.
Third Order of St. Francis monthly meeting will take place Saturday, June 28th at 8:30 AM in Boyle Hall. Any parishioners who would like to learn more about the Franciscan Third Order are welcome to attend the monthly meeting.
Farewell Party: Sunday, July 13th at 6:00 PM we will have a farewell party for Fr. Pons, Fr. Gillilan, and Br. Alphonsus. Please plan to come show your appreciation for their years of dedication and work at Our Lady of Sorrows and to say goodbye to them.
Lost and Found: If you have left any valuable items (wallets, purses, phones, jewelry, etc.) in the church or anywhere on property, please contact the office (602-268-7673 x1). Over the past several months, we have collected many items with no identification. These will all be donated if not claimed by the end of July.
Nova Cantica Catholic Sacred Music Conference: A conference on chant, polyphony, vocal technique, choral conducting, and other topics pertaining to Catholic sacred music will be held from August 8th – 10th, 2025 at Our Lady of the Assumption priory in Walton, KY. Anyone, including choir directors, organists, composers, and singers, interested in this conference is encouraged to attend! The conference registration fee is $110 per person (meals included).
