Second Collection Schedule: A special collection for the SSPX District Education Department will be taken on June 30th. Thank you for your generosity.
Camp Rosebuds: Girls ages 7 – 12 years are invited to a day camp hosted by the Consoling Sisters, Thursday, July 18, 2024. Please contact the church office for more information and to register: 602-268-7673 or email: [email protected].
Poor & Needy Fund Donations: The church is often called on to assist with rent, utilities, and medical expenses for those in need. This year we have had a significant increase in requests for financial assistance. If you can contribute to this fund, please place your donation in an envelope marked “for the needy” in the collection basket or at the church office. Thank you for your generosity.
Altar Flowers Donations: Donation envelopes for purchasing the flowers on the altar can be found in the vestibule. Each envelope is for one week, and lists the Feasts celebrated during that week. You may contribute any or all amount of the flower cost for that week. If interested, please take one envelope and return it to either the Sunday collection basket or to the church office. We are grateful for your generosity.
The First Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. William Guinea of Phoenix, AZ, and Miss Bernadette Henry of Phoenix, AZ, who plan to be married at Our Lady of Sorrows on July 12, 2024. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
Archery Summer Schedule: All current archers, boys and girls grades 4-12, are welcome to come to any of the scheduled shoot times:
Tuesdays & Saturdays, 9:15 AM – 10:30 AM
Thursdays, 7:15 PM – 8:30 PM
New Archers: Archery is now open to any 4th – 12th grade boy or girl in the parish. If interested in joining archery, please contact Miss Sarah Delmanowski ([email protected]). All new archers must first attend Basic Instruction Training (two one-hour classes) taught by Br. Benedict, prior to participating in summer shoots.
