Third Sunday of Lent
Baby Bottle Fundraiser: The Aid to Women Center is a Catholic, Pro-Life Pregnancy Center that provides medical care, counseling, education, resources, and material assistance to women in need. Please remember to fill one of their baby bottles with a check, cash, or coins, and return it to their collection bassinette by March 30th. Make checks payable to Aid to Women Center. Thank you for supporting this worthy organization!
There will be Vespers at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25th for the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Cavaliers Baseball: All parishioners are invited to the Academy’s home game this week, Tuesday, March 25th at 6:30 PM.
Fish Fridays: Every Friday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM during Lent, fish tacos and fish & chips will be for sale in Boyle Hall. Proceeds will go towards tuition expenses for Our Lady of Sorrows seminarians. Thank you for your support and generosity!
Father-Son Bags Tournament: Please join the men and sons (ages 6+) of Our Lady of Sorrows for a Father-Son Bags Tournament sponsored by the Holy Name Society, on Saturday, March 29th at 9:00 AM on the field. This is a free event for fathers and sons to create a family team to compete against other families. Bring your own food and drinks for the event. Franciscan Cordbearers: There will be an enrollment ceremony to the Archconfraternity of the Cord of St. Francis (Cordbearers) on Sunday, March 30th after the 11:00 AM Mass. Adults and children ages 7 and older are welcome. Please see the brochure in the vestibule for further details.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11:30 AM on April 20th. Please donate candy (no chocolate), small religious items or plastic eggs (empty or filled). Donations can be placed in the baskets in the church vestibule.
Stations of the Cross will be at 6:00 PM on Fridays during Lent.
The First Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Diego Vlasic and Miss Monica Archer, both of Phoenix, AZ, who plan to be married on April 24, 2025. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.

Book Signing: Former Our Lady of Sorrows parishioner (from 2008 – 2014) Rosemary McGuire Berry will be promoting and signing her newly released book ‘Piety and Personality: The Temperaments of the Saints’ on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Books can be purchased for a reduced price at the signing.
