Fourth Sunday of Lent
Baby Bottle Fundraiser: Please turn in all filled baby bottles for The Aid to Women Center today in the baskets/bassinettes. Make checks payable to ‘Aid to Women Center’ or donate cash/coins. Thank you for supporting this worthy organization!
Cavaliers Baseball: All parishioners are invited to the Academy’s home games this week, Monday, March 31st at 5:30 PM and Tuesday, April 1st at 6:30 PM.
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, April 2nd at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.
All Day Adoration on Friday, April 4th begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” No evening Mass.
Fish Fridays: Every Friday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM during Lent, fish tacos and fish & chips will be for sale in Boyle Hall. Proceeds will go towards tuition expenses for Our Lady of Sorrows seminarians. Thank you for your support and generosity!
The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, April 5th after the 8:30 AM Mass. We will gather in the front pews of Church for the First Saturday meditation and our prayers for the book intentions, then will go to Boyle Hall for our meeting and refreshments.
Book Signing: Former Our Lady of Sorrows parishioner (from 2008 – 2014) Rosemary McGuire Berry will be promoting and signing her newly released book ‘Piety and Personality: The Temperaments of the Saints’ on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Books can be purchased for a reduced price at the signing.
The Second Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Diego Vlasic and Miss Monica Archer, both of Phoenix, AZ, who plan to be married on April 24, 2025. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
Academy Applications for Fall 2025 are now open for Grades 1 – 12. Families can request information at https://ourladyofsorrows-academy.com/en or email [email protected]. Placement tests will be given in late April.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11:30 AM on April 20th. Please donate candy (no chocolate), small religious items or plastic eggs (empty or filled). Donations can be placed in the baskets in the church vestibule.

Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday.
