Third Sunday of Lent
Perpetual Adoration, Monday, March 9th begins after the 7:30 AM Mass and ends with Benediction at 6:00 PM. Sign-up sheet is in vestibule. Please ensure at least two people are scheduled each hour.
Cavaliers Baseball: All parishioners are invited to the Academy’s home game this week – Friday, March 13th at 6:00 PM.
SSPX Third Order Spiritual Conference will be held Saturday, March 14th at 9:30 AM in Boyle Hall. All SSPX Third Order members are asked to attend. Members of other Third Orders are also welcome to attend.
Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteers are needed to assist with maintaining the altar flowers. Please call the office (602-268-7673 x1) for more information and to volunteer.
Pilgrimage: Two of our Altar Boys, Anthony Papandrea and Rocco Obernuefemann, will represent Our Lady of Sorrows as they walk the Camino de Santiago, the ancient pilgrimage route in Spain, beginning in late June. In keeping with a beautiful medieval Catholic tradition, Anthony and Rocco are honored to carry your intentions with them on this sacred journey. Please visit the booth outside church on Sunday, March 15th and March 22nd, where you may submit your prayer intentions for them to offer along the way. No donation is required.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be after the 10:00 AM Mass on April 5th. Please donate candy (no chocolate) or small religious items and plastic eggs. Donations can be placed in the baskets either in the vestibule or Boyle Hall.
Parish Picnic: All parishioners are invited to a parish picnic on Sunday, March 15th at 12:30 PM. The Holy Name Society will grill meat; sign up to bring sides, drinks and desserts: https://bit.ly/OLOSPicnic. Come enjoy food, games and socializing with your parish family. We will end with Vespers at 5:30 PM.
Episcopal Consecrations Survey: The General House of the SSPX is preparing for the July 1st Consecrations in Econe and have asked for tentative numbers of the faithful who will attend. If you plan to attend the consecrations, please complete this short survey no later than March 9th: https://sspx.org/en/consecrations-survey. Note that this is not a reservation; official registration will be required at a later date.
Lenten Fish Frys will be every Friday from February 20th through March 27th, 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM in Boyle Hall. All proceeds go toward tuition costs for OLOS seminarians.
40 Days for Life Lenten Campaign is February 18 – March 29, 2026. Come protect mothers and children by praying the rosary and fasting for an end to abortion!
