First Sunday of Lent
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, March 12th at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.
Ember Days: Traditional days of fast and partial abstinence are Wednesday, Friday (complete abstinence), and Saturday, March 12th, 14th and 15th. This observance was originally instituted to encourage the faithful to pray and do penance for new priests. Please offer your prayers and sacrifices on these days that God may inspire more men to offer themselves for this holy ministry and for the perseverance of those already ordained.
Cavaliers Baseball: All parishioners are invited to the Academy’s home games this week, Tuesday, March 11th at 5:00 PM and Wednesday, March 12th at 6:30 PM.
Holy Hour for Mothers: Please join us on Friday, March 14th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the church as we spend one hour with Our Lord praying for parish vocations and the intentions of our families. All mothers are welcome!
Stations of the Cross will be at 6:00 PM of Friday during Lent.
Fish Fridays: Every Friday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM during Lent, fish tacos and fish & chips will be for sale in Boyle Hall. Proceeds will go towards tuition expenses for Our Lady of Sorrows seminarians. Thank you for your support and generosity!
Arizona For Life March & Rally will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the state Capital. Pre-Rally events begin at 10:00 AM, Rally at 11:00 AM, March for Life at Noon. For more information, visit ChooseLifeAZ.org/AZMarchForLife.

Baby Bottle Fundraiser: Next weekend we will kick off a fundraiser to support the Aid to Women Center, a Catholic, Pro-Life Pregnancy Center that provides medical care, counseling, education, resources, and material assistance to women in need. Please pick up one of their baby bottles next Sunday, March 16th, fill it with a check, cash or coins, and return it by March 30th. Thank you for supporting this worthy organization!

Father-Son Bags Tournament: Please join the men and sons (ages 6+) of Our Lady of Sorrows for a Father-Son Bags Tournament sponsored by the Holy Name Society, on Saturday, March 29th at 9:00 AM on the field. This is a free event for fathers and sons to create a family team to compete against other families. Bring your own food and drinks for the event.
