Please pray for the repose of the soul of Joseph Fiacco, who died May 2, 2024. The funeral will be on Monday, May 13th here at Our Lady of Sorrows. Visitation in the church at 10:00 AM followed by a Requiem Mass at 10:30 AM.
Alumni Baseball: Cavaliers baseball will be hosting the First Annual Alumni Game, Tuesday, May 14th at 6:00 PM. Contact Coach Violette ([email protected]) for more information, to see if you qualify as an alumni, and to register to play in the game.
Holy Hour for Mothers: Please join us on Friday, May 17th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the church as we spend one hour with Our Lord praying for parish vocations and the intentions of our families. All mothers are welcome!
Second Collection schedule: May 19th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your continued generosity.
Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, May 19th we will have only two Masses (at 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM) due to First Holy Communion.
First Holy Communion will take place during the 9:00 AM Mass on May 19th. All communicants and their families are invited to a reception in Boyle Hall immediately following the Mass.
Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday (May 26th).
The Second Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Damon Softcheck of Phoenix, AZ and Miss Maria Petsch of Phoenix, AZ, who plan to be married on May 25, 2024. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
Mexico Pilgrimage: Registration brochures for the October 7-14, 2024 pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Cristero Saints from Mexico City to Guadalajara, Mexico are in the vestibule. Fr. Pons will celebrate Mass and give spiritual talks daily. Enjoy SSPX fellowship and local culture while touring and praying in historical churches or at apparition and Cristero sites, learn church history from our special guest Mr. Alexander Becker, and more!
