Fourth Sunday after Easter
Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday.
Men’s Marian Retreat starts Wednesday. Please keep the silence on the retreat grounds this week. Please keep the retreatants in your prayers.
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, May 5th at 6:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following. All men interested in learning more about the Holy Name Society are encouraged to attend.
All Day Adoration on Friday, May 7th begins after 8:30 AM Academy Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” Please be sure all time are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. First Friday Mass will be at 6:30 PM.
Folk Dance Lesson: Girls of the Parish (ages 4 and up) are invited to come learn a folk dance, Saturday, May 8th from 3:00 – 4:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Mothers stay and socialize with friends. Please bring a snack to share, and girls should wear a loose, full skirt for dancing.
Second Collection schedule: May 9th to benefit the Building Fund. May 16th to benefit the Academy. Thank you for your generosity.
Young Adults Group: Conference with Fr. Pons on Saturday, May 15th at 7:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Food will be provided.
Private School Tax Credit Donations: Governor Ducey signed into law the ability to make 2020 tax credit donations through the new deadline date of May 17th. This means all Arizona taxpayers will have an extra month to make 2020 tax credit donations, such as the private school tax credit program. Altar Flowers Donations: Donation envelopes for purchasing the flowers on the altar can be found in the vestibule. Each envelope is for one week, and lists the Feasts celebrated during that week. You may contribute any or all amount of the flower cost for that week. If interested, please take one envelope and return it to either the Sunday collection basket or to the church office. We are grateful for your generosity.
Sunday Brunch for the Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Please show your appreciation to our Priests and Religious by cooking one meal for them! We ask for one person/family per weekend, so the more who volunteer, the fewer meals everyone cooks. New dates are available.
