Trinity Sunday

All Day Adoration on Friday, June 4, begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign up sheet is in the vestibule “Can you not watch one hour with Me?”  Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.

Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, June 2 at 6:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following.  All men interested in learning more about the Holy Name Society are encouraged to attend.

Academy Play: All parishioners are invited to the Academy's performance of The Importance of Being Earnest. Shows are Thursday, June 3rd and Friday, June 4th at 7:15 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.

Academy Graduation Mass: Saturday, June 5th at 9:30 AM, followed by the graduation and awards ceremony in the Performing Arts Center. All are invited.

Solemnity of Corpus Christi, Sunday June 6th we will celebrate with a procession to honor Our Lord. Mass at 10:00 AM, followed by a procession led by the First Holy Communicants and Eucharistic Crusaders, which will go off property for Benediction, then return to Church.  Let us honor Our Lord by attending this visible profession of our Faith in the Blessed Sacrament and of Our Lord’s reign over society. All parishioners are invited to bring flower petals to distribute during the procession.

Bookstore Closed on June 6th due to the Solemnity of Corpus Christi.

Abbey Roast Coffee from Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery is available for purchase in the bookstore. Several different varieties are in stock. Each 12 ounce bag costs $11.00.

Trail Life Summer Schedule for Troop AZ-1571 is available in the church vestibule. All boys of the parish are welcome to join us as troop members. Email [email protected] or call/text Wes Hardin at 602-517-9104 with any questions.

Spanish Ignatian Retreats:  Our Lady of Sorrows will host two Ignatian Retreats completely in Spanish this Fall.  We are pleased to have Fr. Hector Guiscafré and Fr. Luis Rodriguez from Mexico to preach these retreat conferences. The Men's Spanish Ignatian Retreat will be November 1 - 6, 2021 and the Women's Spanish Ignatian Retreat will be November 8 - 13, 2021.
