Fifth Sunday after Easter

Announcements

Rogation Days: There will be a Procession followed by the Mass on Wednesday, May 8th at 8:30 AM for the Rogation Days this week.

Ascension Thursday, May 9th, is a traditional Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times are 5:45 AM, 7:30 AM, and 8:30 AM, as well as Vespers at 6:00 PM followed by Mass at 6:30 PM.

Third Order Spiritual Conference will be held Saturday May 11th at 9:30 AM in the Church. All parishioners who are members of a Third Order (SSPX, Dominican, Franciscan, Benedictine, Carmelite) are encouraged to attend.

Mother’s Day Mass Intentions:  Donation envelopes are available in the vestibule and may be turned into the church office, bookstore, or placed in the collection basket.  All intentions will be remembered in the Masses on Mother’s Day, May 12th.

Second Collection schedule:  May 12th to benefit the Building Fund; May 19th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your continued generosity.

Academy Play: All parishioners are invited to the Academy’s performance of A Murder Is Announced. Shows will be Friday, May 10th at 7:00 PM and Saturday, May 11th at 7:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.

Alumni Baseball: Cavaliers baseball will be hosting the First Annual Alumni Game, Tuesday, May 14th at 6:00 PM. Contact Coach Violette ([email protected]) for more information, to see if you qualify as an alumni, and to register to play in the game.

Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, May 19th we will have only two Masses (at 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM) due to First Holy Communion.

First Holy Communion will take place during the 9:00 AM Mass on May 19th. All communicants and their families are invited to a reception in Boyle Hall immediately following the Mass.

Mexico Pilgrimage: Registration brochures for the October 7-14, 2024 pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Cristero Saints from Mexico City to Guadalajara, Mexico are in the vestibule. Fr. Pons will celebrate Mass and give spiritual talks daily. Enjoy SSPX fellowship and local culture while touring and praying in historical churches or at apparition and Cristero sites, learn church history from our special guest Mr. Alexander Becker, and more! Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday (May 26th).
