Easter Duty Reminder: All baptized Catholics of age are obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during Easter time, which runs from the First Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday.
Second Collection schedule: Today to benefit the Building Fund. May 16th to benefit the Academy. Thank you for your generosity.
Rogation Days: There will be a Sung Mass on Wednesday, May 12th at 8:30 AM for the Rogation Days this week.
Pray for an end to abortion. Please join us in praying the Rosary in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Wednesday, May 12th at 6:00 PM.
Ascension Thursday, May 13th, is a traditional Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times are 5:45 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM and Vespers at 6:00 PM followed by Mass at 6:30 PM.
Young Adults Group: Conference with Fr. Pons on Saturday, May 15th at 7:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Food will be provided.
Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, May 18th at 7:00 PM in the Boyle Hall. Fr. Pons will continue his talks on Womanhood, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.
Mass Schedule Change: There will be only two Masses (at 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM) on Sunday, May 23rd, due to First Holy Communions, and on Sunday, June 6th, due to the Feast of Corpus Christi and procession.
Abbey Roast Coffee from Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery is available for purchase in the bookstore. Several different varieties are in stock. Each 12 ounce bag costs $11.00.
Academy Auction: Thank you to all who came out on April 18th to support our Academy Spring Auction! It was an excellent turn-out with a record number of parishioners attending. We appreciate all the support. Thanks to your generosity, the Academy made just over $20,000 profit!
Church Cleaning Assistance: Many volunteers are currently needed to help with church cleaning. The only requirement is to be able to clean one area of the church once a month, according to your schedule. Please make a small sacrifice to keep God’s house clean and beautiful! Spanish Ignatian Retreats: Our Lady of Sorrows will host two Ignatian Retreats completely in Spanish this Fall. We are pleased to have Fr. Hector Guiscafré and Fr. Luis Rodriguez from Mexico to preach these retreat conferences. The Men's Spanish Ignatian Retreat will be November 1 - 6, 2021 and the Women's Spanish Ignatian Retreat will be November 8 - 13, 2021.
