Twenty-fifth Sunday after Pentecost

Announcements

Perpetual Adoration, Monday, November 11th starting after 8:30 AM Mass, ending with Benediction at 6:00 PM. Sign-up sheet is in vestibule. In 1989, the Society of St. Pius X started Perpetual Adoration in which the Blessed Sacrament remains exposed at some house of the Society throughout the world every day for the faithful to pray for the following intentions:

  1. The return of Rome and the bishops to the traditional doctrine of the Church.
  2. The sanctification of priests and candidates for the priesthood.
  3. The awakening of priestly and religious vocations.

Holy Hour for Mothers: Please join us on Friday, November 15th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the church as we spend one hour with Our Lord praying for parish vocations and the intentions of our families. All mothers are welcome!

The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, November 16th after the 8:30 AM Mass. We will meet in the Retreat Chapel to pray the Seven Sorrows devotions and prayers for the book intentions, followed by our meeting and refreshments in Boyle Hall.

Second Collection schedule:  November 17th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your generosity.

Sunday Brunch for the Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Please show your appreciation to our Priests and Religious by cooking one meal for them! We ask for one person/family per weekend, so the more who volunteer, the fewer meals everyone cooks. For more details and to sign up, please visit https://takethemameal.com/PDCI7397. Thank you to all who help feed our Priory!

Christmas Boutique: The Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Christmas boutique on December 1st and 8th. Proceeds benefit parishioners/families in need. We are asking for donations of Christmas crafts and gifts to sell. Donations can be turned in to the church office. Please contact Jessica Hefflinger (503-384-8516) to help.

The Christmas Giving Tree will be on display during the Christmas Boutique this year on December 1st and 8th. The ornaments on this tree will list specific items needed by one of our parishioners, particularly at Christmas. If you or someone you know could benefit from the Christmas Giving Tree, please contact Fr. Pons or Monique at the church office (602-268-7673 x1). Requests will remain confidential.
