Our Lady of Sorrows Academy’s 13th Annual Jog-A-Thon is this Wednesday, November 23rd at 10:00 AM. Please come out to watch and cheer on our students, faculty, and religious. Thank you for supporting our parish school!
Thursday, November 24th, Thanksgiving: All are encouraged to make a special effort to attend Mass to thank God for the graces we have received. Evening confessions and Benediction are cancelled due to the holiday.
Bookstore: The 2023 Angelus Press Liturgical Calendars are available and on sale for only $10.95 (regularly $12.95) during the month of November.
Movie Night: The Nunc Dimittis invites all parishioners to a parish movie night on November 26th at 5:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center, featuring “The Star of Bethlehem.” Snacks and beverages will be provided. Donations will benefit seminarians of the parish.
Advent Recollection: All parishioners are invited to a morning Recollection on Saturday, December 3rd. There will be breakfast, conferences, confessions, consultations, and rosary.
Altar Flowers Donations: Donation envelopes for purchasing the flowers on the altar can be found in the vestibule. Each envelope is for one week, and lists the Feasts celebrated during that week. You may contribute any or all amount of the flower cost for that week. If interested, please take one envelope and return it to either the Sunday collection basket or to the church office. We are grateful for your generosity.
Christmas Bake Sale: The Ladies Auxiliary is requesting donations of baked goods to be sold at the Christmas Boutique. Please bring your items packaged and priced on either Sunday, November 27th or December 4th. Thank you!
Christmas Boutique: The Ladies Auxiliary and Young Adult Group will hold a Christmas boutique on November 27th and December 4th. Proceeds benefit parishioners/families in need. We are asking for donations of Christmas crafts and gifts to sell. All donations can be turned in to the church office. For questions/details please contact Molly Forsythe (405-952-4001).
Christmas Giving Tree will be on display during the Christmas Boutique. The ornaments on this tree will list specific items needed by one of our parishioners, particularly at Christmas. If you or someone you know could benefit from the Christmas Giving Tree, contact Fr. Pons or Monique at the church office (602-268-7673 x1). Requests will remain confidential.
