Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, November 6th at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.
Floriani, a men’s vocal ensemble,will perform a sacred music concert at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Thursday, November 7th at 7:30 PM, following Benediction. All parishioners are invited to experience traditional sacred music performed in our church.
The Third Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Logan Ferrera and Miss Erica Amodeo, both of Gilbert, AZ, who plan to be married on November 8, 2024, at Our Lady of Sorrows. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
Third Order Spiritual Conference will be held Saturday, November 9th at 9:30 AM in the Church. All parishioners who are members of a Third Order (SSPX, Dominican, Franciscan, Benedictine, Carmelite) are encouraged to attend.
2024 OLOS Bags Tournament: Men ages 16+ are invited to a Bags Tournament sponsored by the Holy Name Society on Saturday, November 9th at 9:00 AM. This is an all-day men's event including food, drinks, cigars, a cornhole tournament, and much more. All veterans, active military, and first responders play for free. Pre-registration for a two-man team is $100/team. Registration the day of the event for a two-man team is $130/team. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Second Collection schedule: November 10th to benefit the Building Fund; November 17th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your generosity.
Sunday Brunch for the Priory: Volunteers are needed to prepare Sunday Brunch for the Priory. Please show your appreciation to our Priests and Religious by cooking one meal for them! Christmas Giving Tree will be on display during the Christmas Boutique this year on December 1st and 8th. The ornaments on this tree will list specific items needed by one of our parishioners, particularly at Christmas.
