Dedication of the Archbasilica of the Holy Savior
Second Collection schedule: November 16th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. A special collection for the SSPX Foreign Mission Program will be taken on Sunday, November 30th. Thank you for your generosity.
Fundraiser: Several girls from the Children of Mary will be joining the Consoling Sisters in Italy to attend the Ceremony of First Professions in June, visiting the Sisters at the Novitiate of St. Joseph and the Mother House in Vigne, and making a pilgrimage to Rome. Please support their fundraiser, including a raffle of a beautiful, framed painting of the Sacred Heart, on November 9th and 23rd for this cause. You may also share your prayer intentions, which the girls will take on their journey. Thank you for your generosity!
Enthronement to the Sacred Heart: As mentioned in the sermon on the Feast of Christ the King, enthroning the Sacred Heart in the home is a good practical way to declare Christ’s Kingship in the family and, through the family, in society. To prepare for such an enthronement, it is recommended to read Jesus, King of Love by Fr. Mateo Crawley. You can find more information about the Enthronement in the bookstore.
Christmas Giving Tree will be on display during the Christmas Boutique this year on November 30th and December 7th. The ornaments on this tree will list specific items needed by one of our parishioners, particularly at Christmas. If you or someone you know could benefit from the Christmas Giving Tree, please contact Fr. Buschmann or Monique at the church office (602-268-7673 x1). Requests will remain confidential.
Lawn Areas Closed: The grass areas around the Pieta statue and in front of the Performing Arts Center have been re-seeded. All persons ae asked to stay off the grass in these areas until November 24th.
