Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, October 4th at 6:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following. All men are invited and encouraged to attend.
All Day Adoration on Friday, October 6th begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.
The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, October 7th after the 8:30 AM Mass. We will meet in the Retreat Chapel to pray the Seven Sorrows devotions and prayers for the book intentions, followed by our meeting and refreshments in Boyle Hall.
The Third Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Jonathan DeBartolo of Battle Ground, WA and Miss Nicole Wheeler, formerly of Our Lady of Sorrows, who plan to be married on October 7, 2023. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
Second Collection schedule: October 8th to benefit the Building Fund; October 15th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your generosity.

Third Order Spiritual Conferences will be held every second Saturday of each month at 9:30 AM in the church. These conferences will be for all Third Order members (SSPX, Dominican, Franciscan, Benedictine, Carmelite). The first conference will be on Saturday, October 14th.
