Peter and Paul, Albuquerque, NM and Miss Joanna Bayolo of Tempe, AZ, formerly of St. Philomena’s, Miami, FL, who plan to be married on November 23, 2019. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
In honor of Christ the King, Sunday, October 27, 2019 we will have only one Mass at 9:00am with the procession starting at 10:30am, Benediction at outdoor Altar and returning to Our Lady of Sorrows. Let us make this event as significant as possible! Confessions from 7:00- 8:50am (2 priests). No confessions during Mass.

Second Collection schedule: Today to benefit the Building Fund. October 20 to benefit the Academy.
Holy Name Sunday: Members are reminded to receive Communion as a group today, and recite the Holy Name Pledge with Father after the concluding prayers of Mass.
Prayer for Priests: All parishioners are invited to join the HNS in the prayer for priests directly after Mass today. Prayer is inside back cover of the hymnal. Prayer will be led by a HNS member.

Ladies Auxiliary is open to all ladies of the parish, and exists for the greater glory of God, mutual spiritual growth, and the support of our pastor by organizing special events and assistance to those in need. Please join us for a meeting on Tuesday, October 15 at 7:00 pm in the Retreat Conference Room.
Trail Life Registration due October 31. Registration for Troop AZ- 1571 is open until October 31. Please sign up to receive a registration text/email in the vestibule, or to express interest. Joining boys must be at least 5 years old by January 1. Initial registration is $26 per member, with additional fees contributing to the needs of our local troop. Adult volunteers are always needed and welcome.
All Saint’s Day party will be held on Saturday, November 2 starting at 3pm. Events include a saints’ costume contest, face painting, piñatas, games, food, tractor hay rides and more. Please put donations of candy in the basket in Boyle Hall. We need many volunteers to make this a success, sign up sheets are in Boyle Hall.
Our Lady of Sorrows Academy Tenth Annual Jog-A-Thon will be held on November 27. Our priests and religious will also be running the jog-a-thon. Pledge forms and the collection box are in the vestibule. Donate online: https://jogathon.olosa.org
