Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost

Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, October 17th at 7:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Fr. Pons will give a conference, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.

Holy Hour for Mothers: Please join us on Friday, October 20th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the church as we spend one hour with Our Lord praying for parish vocations and the intentions of our families. All mothers are welcome!

Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, October 29th we will have only two Masses (at 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM) in honor of the Feast of Christ the King. An outdoor procession will begin at 9:30 AM.

All Soul Envelopes are in the vestibule to submit names of the faithful departed to be remembered at daily Mass throughout November. Please include an offering. Envelopes can be placed in the collection basket or turned in to the parish office by October 31, 2023.

All Saints Day: Please join us for the Annual All Saints Day Party on Saturday, November 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Children are invited to dress as their favorite Saint, we will have Saint themed carnival games, food, and fun!  Donations of candy and small religious prizes for the children can be placed in the bins in Boyle Hall. 40 Days for Life: Fall campaign September 27 - November 5, 2023. Come protect mothers and children by praying and fasting for an end to abortion! OLOS Bags Tournament: All men of the parish, ages 12 and up, are invited to a Bags (Cornhole) Tournament sponsored by the Holy Name Society on Saturday, November 11th at 9:30 AM on St. John Bosco Field. This is an all-day men’s event including food, drinks, cigars, a cornhole tournament and more. We will honor Veterans during the event, and all Veterans play for free. Poor & Needy Fund Donations: The church is often called on to assist with rent, utilities, and medical expenses for those in need. If you can contribute to this fund, please place your donation in an envelope marked “for the needy” and turn into the collection basket or the church office any time throughout the year.
