Nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost

All Catechism Classes are Cancelled October 19th and 26thdue to the Angelus Press Conference and the Feast of Christ the King procession.

Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, October 26th we will have only two Masses (at 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM) in honor of the Feast of Christ the King. An outdoor procession will begin at 9:30 AM.

Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: All women of the parish are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00 PM in Boyle Hall. Fr. Buschmann will give a talk, we will discuss upcoming parish events, then will end with a social hour. Please bring a snack, dessert, or drink to share.

Third Order of St. Francis monthly meeting will take place Saturday, October 25th at 8:30 AM in Boyle Hall. Any parishioners who would like to learn more about the Franciscan Third Order are welcome to attend the monthly meeting. There will also be an Investiture and Profession ceremony at 9:30 AM in the retreat chapel.

All Souls Envelopes are in the vestibule to submit names of the faithful departed to be remembered at daily Mass throughout November. Please include an offering. Envelopes can be placed in the collection basket or turned into the parish office by October 31, 2025.

Cleaning Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to take on cleaning an area of the church one day a month. Fundraiser: Several girls from the Children of Mary will be joining the Consoling Sisters in Italy to attend the Ceremony of First Professions in June, visiting the Sisters at the Novitiate of St. Joseph and the Mother House in Vigne, and making a pilgrimage to Rome. Please support their various fundraisers on October 12th and 19th and November 9th and 23rd for this cause. You may also share your prayer intentions, which the girls will take on their journey. Thank you for your generosity!

The Annual All Saints Parish Festival will be Saturday, November 1st from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Children are invited to dress as their favorite Saint and we will have a potluck dinner, Saint themed carnival games, bounce houses and much more fun! 2025 OLS Bags Tournament: Men ages 16+ are invited to a Bags Tournament sponsored by the Holy Name Society, on Saturday, November 8th at 10:00 AM. This is an all-day men's event including food, drinks, cigars, a cornhole tournament, and much more. We will honor all veterans during the event, and all veterans, active military, and first responders play for free. Pre-registration for a two-man team is $80/team. Registration on the day of the event for a two-man team is $100/team. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and drinks. A registration table will be available after Mass.

The First Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Jeffrey Kavanagh and Miss Cecilia Quain, both of Our Lady of Sorrows, who plan to be married here on November 15, 2025. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
