Third Order of St. Francis monthly meeting will take place Saturday, October 26th in Boyle Hall. The meeting for all members will begin immediately following the 7:30 AM Mass, followed by instructions for new members. Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, October 27th we will have only two Masses (at 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM) in honor of the Feast of Christ the King. An outdoor procession will begin at 9:30 AM.
Catechism classes are cancelled Sunday, October 27th due to the Feast of Christ the King procession.
Election Novena: Please join the SSPX U.S. District in praying a special novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for the upcoming elections and the good of the United States, from October 7th – November 5th. Copies of the novena can be found in the church vestibule.
All Saints Day, Friday, November 1st is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times: 5:45 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM (sung Mass) and 6:30 PM. There will also be Vespers at 6:00 PM.
All Souls Envelopes are in the vestibule to submit names of the faithful departed to be remembered at daily Mass throughout November. Please include an offering. Envelopes can be placed in the collection basket or turned in to the parish office by October 31, 2024.
Bookstore Sale: All rosaries are 20% off during the month of October. Angelus Press 2025 Calendars are on sale for $10.95 each.
Field Closed: The entire church field has been re-seeded, therefore all activities on the field are suspended until November 3rd. This includes all regularly scheduled soccer/volleyball games and other events. All persons are asked to stay off the field. We also ask parents to please ensure your children do not go into or around the field after Mass, Benediction, school, etc. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Third Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Juan Gandara and Mrs. Magaly Mendoza Delgado, both of Phoenix, AZ, who plan to be married on October 26, 2024, at Our Lady of Sorrows. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.

All Saints Celebration: Please join us for the Annual All Saints Party on Sunday, November 3rd. Children are invited to dress as their favorite Saint, with judging beginning at 3:00 PM in Boyle Hall. We will have Saint themed carnival games, food, and fun on St. John Bosco field from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. 2024 OLOS Bags Tournament: Men ages 16+ are invited to a Bags Tournament sponsored by the Holy Name Society on Saturday, November 9th at 9:00 AM. This is an all-day men's event including food, drinks, cigars, a cornhole tournament, and much more. All veterans, active military, and first responders play for free. Pre-registration for a two-man team is $100/team. Registration the day of the event for a two-man team is $130/team. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks.
